Vinyl Records Takes on the C+C Music Factory

Vinyl Records loves you, the student body, SO much that we all went to the 90’s Dance Part at Nightlight this Friday. The first song I heard as we rolled up was “Gonna Make You Sweat,” and I was flung back in time to my days of dance music adoration. I of course broke out into The Robot, the coolest dance move since The Mashed Potato, and burst into quotes from the SNL classic movie “Superstar.” Then, on the next song, we all moved into a little Molly Ringwald action, toe-to-floor-and-twist style.

It was pure magic.

Glow Stick Guy was spinning out in a corner, there was an abundance of costume-y goodness, and just when I thought I was already having too much fun, Gangster’s Paradise issued forth from the deafeningly loud speakers.

The point of this post is basically just letting you guys know that if ever you have the chance to go to an Early 90’s Dance Party, jump on that.
